I'm surprised this hasn't been brought up yet. Stealth Arms Platypus. It is a 2011 that runs on G17 mags. I'm only 200ish rounds into mine with half being 115gr range ammo and the other half 147gr suppressed. Not a single hiccup. Pistol fires very flat, and it is fast.

The website allows you to customize every single thing you can imagine. Want to back fill the serrations on the safety or hammer? What color do you want the lettering? The negative space on pic rail? If if you choose to have a pic rail, regular or full length? Full size or commander? You get the idea.

Looks cool. Seems like I’m going to have a thing to wonder about all summer.

I mean I have a bunch of Glock 17 mags and only a couple Glock 19s to stick them in.

Probably work with those 33 round mags too just because fun.

Only thing I don’t see is how heavy they are.

Interesting that they suggest the micro dots for the thinner 1911 slide.

Makes sense and I like it, since the 507k has been my favorite dot I’ve had so far, and the small size doesn’t obstruct my shooting any.

On their website they say the regular RMR cut is "Coming Soon". Maybe they figured something out to make it work

I like that the rear sight plate is held in by a set screw that is prevented from backing out by the firing pin stop.

Can you measure what the grip width is?
1.210 width from L to R.
1.950 Front to back.
Both taken just under the grip safety.

I had a Stacatto but did not like the grip, it was too blocky for me, reminded me of earlier gen Glock 21.

The corners on this are well rounded, combined with the trigger guard undercut make this a very comfortable fitting gun for me.

Now you really have my interest. That's narrower than the grips on my 1911.

Range report:
This is becoming my favorite pistol. 400 rounds of 115 fmj and 80 rounds of gold dots. Only bobble was one failure to lock back when I was trying to be John Wick and going fast, I wasn't paying attention to my grip and rode the slide lock.

Once zeroed, I was able to ping a 50% size steel silhouette at 100 yards reliably. Not 100% but reliably. I spent a lot of time on presentation, drawing from a holster, 2 shots, reholster. I'm still learning pistol red dots, and this is the area I struggle with.

This pistol wants to go fast. I had a stacatto and hated it. I'm glad I gave this a chance.
