This is a new letter I received from my congressman, I included his comments but not the actual copy of the letter as I thought it would be too much. Also is a link to contact the AG and acting Director of the ATF. Hopefully some will take the time and write.

US Congressman Bryan Steil,
Friend,

The Biden Administration’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) recently developed and released brand new federal guidance on firearms with attached stabilizing braces. Up until now, the ATF had stated the stabilizing brace was created to meet the needs of disabled combat veterans who enjoy recreational shooting, but require assistance to control heavy pistols. However, the Biden Administration is changing course and wants to regulate stabilizing braces and tax our disabled veterans for using the brace. Worse, if lawful gun owners do not comply with the tax or do not turn in the firearm, the Biden Administration could consider them a felon. This overreaching ATF guidance infringes on law-abiding citizens’ right to bear arms and disproportionally impacts our veterans.

To stop this overreach, I joined a group of likeminded colleagues from across the country to defend our Second Amendment rights and oppose the proposal. Standing up for the rights of law-abiding citizens is a top priority. You can see our letter here: _ _ _

I will continue advocating for our Second Amendment rights in Congress while enforcing laws on the books and address the root causes of gun violence, without infringing on our constitutional freedoms.

The best way to stop attacks on our Second Amendment rights is to voice your concerns. Right now, the public can submit comments to the ATF here: https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2021/06/10/2021-12176/factoring-criteria-for-firearms-with-attached-stabilizing-braces#open-comment.
