That is a gorgeous Model 10-5 Jibjab!
How many will you end up with? I don't know.....They are kind of like penny candy. So darned affordable, and providing so much beauty and shooting value on the dollar they are irresistable! If you count my Model of 1899, and the M&Ps, I am likely up into the double digits now. I ain't countin' though! The subtle variations keep me coming back.
I agree the prices seem to be rising. I am in an etheral Model 10 oasis with two pawn shop owners who have five year old Blue books and do not care. Thus, I am finding them tagged below $200 still. At gun shows I am seeing them in all conditions running from $275 to $400. I'm presently considering a Model 10-5 RB 4 incher for $225. I just can't bring myself to break the $200 mark yet........But the time is coming! If it were a HB or a 3 incher, I'd be all over it.
Your revolver is well worth what you paid for it. In fact, I would say the actual value is in the $350-$400 range. It's just that many folks have not figured that out yet. Thus, the prices stay low. If this revolver were made today, to this level of fit and finish, with these materials, S&W would have to charge around $1000 for it and call it a Performance Center gun. They are that good.
You done good!
