Well, the banana mag made it to the range today and was feeding a full auto ChiCom AK47. It functioned flawlessly.

You should see'em on the Facebook HK threads ... Sometimes people just filling in the letters with color will send them over the edge!

I used to venture over to the HK forum now and then. The last time I asked a simple question about extended magazines for an HK 45 and was berated for not knowing how to execute a fast reload, and I'm clearly a newbie because I should know that all extended magazines are for newbies.

I clearly am not "operator" enough to post there. Some of them are ok, but my experience indicates it is largely populated by uppity D-bags with over blown egos and ideas about their capabilities. Owning a particular brand of firearm doesn't mean anything other than you have a job. I'm done with that group.

I like the banana clip Gunny, and I agree, many people take themselves way too seriously.

I have used guns as the tools of my tread for many years. I have be shot at several times but never hit. I have inflected pain upon those that have wished to harm me, but still, I am no Operator.
I would have to say that 98% of the guns I own are for fun. Guns bring me joy and I would have to say that I'm a very happy man.
Life is to short to walk around with a stick in your butt.
