I hate to mention this but I'm reading an article in the new Wired Magazine called "Giving the Grunts an Upgrade" which is about the work going on at DARPA: the Defense Advanced Research Agency". One of the things highlighted is research into "de-animating" wounded soliders to give them a better chance of surviving massive trauma by extending the "golden hour".
Supposedly the program ran into trouble with the Presidents Council on Bioethics so the program "went under ground".
Great story! I almost didn't read "yet another zombie story". Glad I did. Really enjoy how you are tying in the Federal Reserve, multi-nationals, and China. And a secret government bunker.
If all this eating of flesh and brains keeps up there is going to be a serious housing glut in he real estate market. On the other hand, acreage will be cheap.
Hmmmm...only firearms so far. No chainsaws, axes, or machetes to the brain. Or, if all it takes is a bullet to the brain then how about a 10/22 and five bricks of .22 LR? Have to admit the intro of the shotguns was a nice touch.
Sorta. He and his lady came to my place for some shooting Sunday. I did gently remind him to get more written. He also needs to write a review of his new Sagia. Hint hint.
Well there's your problem. You should have jabbed him repeatedly with a fork until he agreed to write nonstop to the finish. Or at least write another chapter.
He has height, weight, reach and years on me and I don't run near as fast or as far as I used to. I also don't heal nearly as quick either. I'll wait patiently thankyouverymuch.
