AAC 77 grain precision ammo

Not too shabby. How much are they running? Isn’t that the new PSA house brand of ammo?

Yep. It's been on sale lately for something like 60 cents per round. Not bad for heavy match-ish ammo.

AAC is PSA brand ammo. Military Arms Channel recently did a video about their factory tour. Pretty impressive.

I bought 180 rds to try, and I'm going to get some more. Was using some to break in a 26" bolt gun barrel and trued it at 600 yds to right around 3k fps in the long barrel using the SMK BC. Shot quite well for $11/box. I'd be interested to see some gel testing with the 77gr AAC bullet.

That's great accuracy, no kidding that would make a lessor reloader sell their 223/5.56 materials.

(obligatory) you missed!:p

Looks like good ammo. I havent seen any here yet

You'll have to order it from PSA. https://palmettostatearmory.com/aac-5-56-nato-77-grain-otm-20rd-box-ammunition.html

I just toured the AAC ammo plant as well, 310,000 sq/ft all new equipment, churning out ammo all day. Very impressive.

BTW, that specific 77gr load uses a in house designed 77gr bullet. ( PSA / AAC also sells a 77gr SMK 5.56 load )

I shot some of it , literally straight off the production line.
100% Perfect function, no signs of high pressure, and very good accuracy... and its price point sure makes it even more attractive.

I was lucky enough to do this with my first try with the 77gr OTM load ( AAC 77gr bullet )

And while this isn't my video, it does show the Owner Jamin talking about his "Spread Freedom" attitude. He is VERY Pro 2A, and is actually doing something about it !
