Most of these are internet chat room lazy typist short cuts. Like LOL, U, etc. Listen to Fly320s. NASA is an acronym. LOL is not. Neither is 'U'. The Queen's English is always preferred. As is proper puncuation, sentences and paragraph's.
Proper use of The Queen's English gives you crediblity. Bad spelling, improperly used words(too, to and two or there, their and they're), no spaces after punctuation marks, etc. reduces said credibility.
"...close quarters concealment..." Eh? That'd be a marketing thing.
