The latest ADCO project rifle - Started with an Armalite AR 30 chambered in .300WM.
If only there were a way to make it look more like an FN.
Off went the POS original stock, and in its place the multi adjustable you see below.
Attaches in the same way as the original, but is adjustable for
Length of pull, pad is vertically adjustable, and rotating so it will fit anyone.
The cheek piece is also vertically adjustable and can be installed on either side for left or right hand shooters. A vertically adjustable mono pod can be locked up out of the way or straight up and down. For the odd heights, it can be tightened against its radius at the location of your choosing.
Also seen in the stock pictures is the extended bolt knob, which is sorely needed from the factory.
Barrel – fully sleeved, its entire length all the way to the custom muzzle brake. And remains completely free floating. The barrel came threaded, but didn’t have anything on the end. The brake is screwed on and tightened in place to index.
I thought it was cool the way the FN’s bi-pod was attached, so a versa-pod was cannibalized and a bracket was built to mount to the AR30’s frame.
There it is all 22lbs (the stock weighs over 5 lbs)
This is truly a case of “the picture does not do it justiceâ€, another excellent job done by my friendly tool/die maker/machinist/gunsmith Schuster. I just tell him what I want and he pulls it off every time
Now to slap a price tag on it and set it on my shelf.
Be well!
