Affordable borescope

I was recently at local gunsmith and he checked bore on my rifle. But, to my surprise, he didn't use one of those borescope devices with long tube and eye piece, but little lens with a light, attached to flexible cable and plugged into bit larger cell phone. Looks to me noted setup that shouldn't cost arm and leg, unless high end cell is required. Then I checked on internet, and from what I could see, very nice setup could be purchased for just 20-40 dollars, see https://www.walmart.com/c/kp/cell-phone-borescope .

Anybody knows more or has personal experience with such borescope setups?

Teslong is what's most recommended here. They have several that are wireless to your phone. I have one that plugs into my MBP I use on rifles. Amazon has them for cheap.

I first saw this on the Hammer Striker YouTube channel. Hold the short end at the barrel end or chamber and the fiber optic rod concentrates enough light to do a quick bore inspection.

I have a fiber optic one too. Mine is clear though.

I bought one of the cheap ones from Amazon a couple of yrs back, shows clearly how bad I was/am at cleaning, I still use it especially with a new barrel or gun to remove all copper to get a good starting point when reloading. I think mine was on sale (Amazon day) for less than $20 regularly around 40, it hooks up to my phone via a cable, a friend had a bluetooth one but it was not as clear and he sent it back.
