After lasik surgery, my right eye is fine for reading, while my left eye is good for distance. Normally the brain seems to switch back & forth easily, and it's great not having to wear glasses whether reading or driving.
Being right-handed, with a pistol I shoot right handed but use my left eye to sight. All seems to work ok. I just hold the pistol a little off center or maybe tilted slightly.
I don't own a rifle yet, but wondering what I'll do if using a scope, or even iron sights. With my right cheek on the stock, and the butt firmly in my right shoulder, using my left eye doesn't seem easy.
Maybe the scope diopter can adjusted to make my right eye work. Iron sights still seem like they'd be a problem. Never tried shooting left-handed.
Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks....
