After Market 10 round Saiga 7.62x39 mag.

So the actual saiga 10 round mags are kinda hard to come up on. Anyone know any sites or after market mags that I could get? I live in California so the laws are strict. Or is it easy to buy actual ak mags and do a little sanding to fit it in the saiga?

It takes more than a "little" sanding to make a AK mag work in a Saiga. There is the small matter of welding up the front of the AK mag since the stock Saiga does not have a bullet guide which if installed means you cannot use unmodified factory mags. Also it would have to be a 10 rd AK mag. Not easy to find. I think only the Chinese make real ones.

If you install a bullet guide and modify the mag latch a bit, Tapco ten-rounders will work.

5 round AK mags can be modified to take 10 rounds by simply cutting an inch off the follower. They can then be used in the Saiga if it has a bullet guide. Bullet guides are a pretty easy and cheap mod as well. You don't need to buy one.
