Ammunition? It's been a long time since I've seen 21. Does the Law still require one to be at least 18 to purchase Shotgun & Rifle Ammo and 21 for Handgun & Inner-changeable Ammo? Any changes in Federal Laws lately? Do the State and Local Governments have the Right to apply there own Regulation too?

Not only do you hafe to be 18 to buy a long gun,but you have to be 18 to SELL ammo. I have beaten up on several Walmart managers about that. Even to the point of giving my reciept to the BATF for investigation.

see the funny part about this that a walmart maneger told me one time is that to buy ammo for a handgun you must be 21 but dont they make a .357 rifle and .38 and 9mm (marlin camp9) these are rifles and so you only have to be 18

When you buy ammo from Wally World, the register prompts them to ask if it is for handgun use. All you would have to do is say, "No" if you were under 21. Kind of silly, as are most gun-related rules.
