I've heard good things about AIM Surplus. I'm thinking of buying some ammo from them, however I'd like to know one thing. How are their shipping and handling charges for their products? I've been been taken to the bank a few times and I try to do some research prior to making any on line purchases.

If you got to their website you can check the S&H charges out. I just ordered 10 boxes of 30-30 with $13.46 S&H. It will show you the charges before you check out.

Sam, like pfs said, you can see the shipping charges. Usually, you'll still come out plenty ahead of local retailers.

they bring in good products at good prices. I'm still saving for that SSR Bulgarian AK.

I bought a lot of ammo from aim last year and currently have a 5.45x39 AR upper on order w/ them. They are top notch. S&H is reasonable. If you live in Oregon, I expect you may find the S&H a little steep. S&H to Georgia should be fine.

Another thumbs-up for AIM here. I've bought C&R firearms, ammo, and countless accessories from them and always been treated well. Descriptions are accurate, service is fast, and shipping is fair. No worries - you'll always be treated well at AIM. :D

I bought a Schmidt Rubin K31 from them, and a number of boxes of ammo. They have always treated me right. And my K31 has doubled in value more or less! :)

How are their shipping and handling charges for their products?

I would shop around. I did a price/shipping comparison with Century Int. for some of my ammo needs (5.45 a year ago) and AIM's shipping was highway robbery, completely absurd. :barf:

I have had very good dealings with AIM.

I bought some E German .223 AK mags for my Norinco .223 from AIM.
The German mags are just a hair too wide for the Norinco AK magwell (in case anyone needs to know that in the future).

Aim offered to refund my money right away. I told them I would keep them anyway (another reason to buy another gun!). I did tell the CS person they need to add the info "Will not fit Norinco .223s". Later that afternoon the website was updated with that disclaimer!

Great customer service and product. I have bought parts from them about 5 times and each order was shipped fast and well packed.
I have only heard good reports from friends that have used them.

What? I thought it was just me. I thought they were hitting on me. :p

I just ordered some 7.62x39 ammo and some surplus AK magazines. Some of the magazines didn't work and they said that they would replace them and compensate me for the return shipping. We'll see what happens.

Nevertheless, the prices are great and they seem like great guys.

You can't compare AIM to Century fairly in terms of bulk ammo.

If you buy $500 worth of ammo at Century they ship free, or at least that's what it was last time I bought a large order from them!

AIM is more of a retailer, Century is more of a wholesaler.

That said, I always check AIM first for everything MILSURP and have ordered lots from them, would order again.
