Well, it is almost finished and when it is done will be the first rifle I have been able to finish the way I want it. The only thing I want now is for it not to be black, but I am not about to buy Magpul and other stuff all over again. It will either get dipped or sprayed at some point. I must say though that this thing is a thing of beauty. I got my free Nikon M223 scope in today along with a Burris PEPR one piece mount. I went ahead and snugged everything on but it has not been leveled or sighted in yet. I got to say that I am pretty impressed with the glass. The unit is slightly used as it was used for promotional material and photography as well as used at some events but all I can see is some minor scratches on the turrets. The only complaint I have, if you can complain about a free scope, is that the elevation turret is hard to adjust. I mean it clicks like it should but the dang thing is so hard to move I can't just move it one click. I always wind up doing 3 or more. The windage turret operates perfectly and has excellent clicks. Overall, a very nice scope in the $200-$400 range, or free to me :). I was however very surprised to see that this scope was made in the Philippines and not Japan considering it is Nikon, but a good scope nonetheless.

The Burris PEPR mount seems to be a very solid piece. I haven't gotten out and beat it up yet but it seems to be built like a tank. The only complaint I have about it is that it is made in China, but nonetheless it is machined very well. I will try and take some pics sometimes this weekend.
