I was in the market for some qd mounts for my harris bipod and a scope to go on my precision ar build. Funds were limitless so I was going to go with Larue Tactical everything. Then something came up and now funds are almost non existent. (Saving for our first born in ~6 months :D )

So now to cut some money

Scope Mounts

Larue tactical SPR $200
GG&G FLT $200
Warne Maxia QD rings $60
Leupold QRW rings $65
ARMS rings $120

If not QD then I was thinking something like the Burris PEPR mount

Also for the harris bipod ther is the
Larue tactical harris bipod adapter $80
ARMS has something that is more expensive
CAA has a plastic thing that is $20

but I think the GG&G non qd mount or YHM is the best for the $

Which of the above would you recommend / stay away from?
Do you ever regret getting / not getting QD mounts?

I am using a B-Square TAC0008 detachable bases on my AR and it works great. It returns to zero every time I attach a scope. They can normally be found for around $40 if you look hard enough. I have a Konus 1-4 x 24mm M30 Pro on it and a long range scope on another base.

For bipod I bought a UTG 9-11" that attaches to the picatanny rail on my handguard. It isn't as good as a Harris but it does a pretty good, especially for the money.
