but it wont fit in any modern frame's mag wells, right?
Why not recreate it? say, take a 10mm as the starting point, but neck it so it can take the .30 cal bullet, but make it so the overall length matches that of the parent 10mm....
Not the SAME round persay, but close, and could possibly do two things (MAYBE, im not a reloader, or an enginer, ETC)
Make it possible to have the SAME ballestics of the Tok, but with lower pressures (once again MAYBE) because its possible it would have more case capcity, sorta like the .400 corbon Vs 10mm thing, at the "normal" 10mm levels the .45 ACP based one has more breathing room, as I understand it, giveing it lower pressures, and maybe this would to?
(35,000 PSI, I think for 10mm, I cannot find any data on chamber pressure for 7.62X25 Tok, oddly enough, so this is a true guess)
AND due to the construction, possibly (once again, a guess) that if it works like that it could SURPASS the orginal that the concept came from!
Ill admit that would be kind of cool, plus, a barrel change and maybe a spring change could make any 10mm a 7.62/.30 high velocity capable shooter.
So, what do you all think? id be glad to hear anything anyone has to say, I just figured id pose the thought, hey, what do i have to lose?
