Ankle Holster For Shield 40 Gen 1

Hello... I've tried a few different carry methods. My job sometimes requires me to crawl into tight spots and squat and contort myself to work on equipment. I was thinking of trying an ankle holster. Any recommendations? Can any of you with experience give me some pros and cons of carrying using an ankle holster? Thanks for your help and time.

I use an ankle holster when other options are inconvenient. I prefer the nylon with velcro ones that are very inexpensive and comfortable for all day carry. The "cons" are probably not the fastest access. Also, you may forget that you are wearing it.

I found this one for $35 on sale. It's a Galco Ankle Guard. It seems to have good reviews. I think Galco has been around a while. I didn't think $35 was a huge risk.
I've been going into some questionable areas to work lately. I have not been carrying because my appendix holster has been getting in the way.

I've been very happy with my Galco "Ankle Glove." You might want to invest also in the supplemental calf strap. It prevents the holster from sliding down to the top of your shoe, which it sounds like your circumstances would benefit from.
