Does anyone else use an ankle holster on a regular basis? I got a Fobus ankle holster for my Glock 26, just to try out "ankle carry" and see how it worked out. I'm really impressed. It's turning out to be the most comfortable and most easily concealed carry method I've used yet.
I've been searching for a method of carry that would work with my work clothes (khaki pants and a short-sleeve button up or polo-type shirt, tucked in), and IWB just doesn't work, even with a shirt-tucker model. It works fine with a cover garment, but without one, it just prints too much. Pocket holsters also don't seem to work well, they print too much and also keep me from using that pocket for other things. I've been using a type of belly-band that fits up under the armpits, and that does work very well for concealment, it just gets rather hot and sweaty after a while, and that's never fun.
The ankle holster, however, virtually disappears on me. It doesn't even change the line or break of my pants. Has anyone else had similar success with ankle holsters?
