Another North Fork Tactical Update

Got this tonight:

“Primer presale current update:
Hello everyone. I know you have all been anxious to get an update from me for a couple weeks now. Fact is that I’ve been waiting for one too. The ATF Imports Div. in Seattle has 2 staff members representing all imports which as I’m sure you can guess, causes things to move fairly slowly. Today I got word that our import permit has been rejected and will need to be reapplied for. This is not the news we were hoping for or expecting. The best estimate I was given as to how long this would take is at a minimum 8 weeks. Until then, our shipment will be held with my counterpart in Canada. If you are willing to wait, I appreciate it and we will continue to give every effort to see this through to close. If you are not, however, I am happy to issue a refund to anyone who requests one. I’m really sorry this was not the good news you were all hoping for. Believe me, it was a difficult blow to us as well. I plan to be in touch with the ATF every week for a progress check, as well as appeal their decision to deny our permit, although I’m not sure how much good that will do. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask but I’m not going to disclose the exact details of the why and how of the matter with ATF and our agent. Thanks for your support through all of this. I appreciate the kind and supportive comments I’ve read from some of you on The High Road and in emails. It makes all the work feel more worth while.

So personally, I’m hanging tight. I figure this is going to take time and effort by the seller and patience for us buyers.

Should reasonably priced primers start becoming available, I’ll buy them as well. I’m not worried about having too many. I appreciate the butt-ache NFT is experiencing....I’m gonna have faith and be patient.

I ordered 60K primers 8 weeks ago from North Fork. I’m getting a refund. I’d consider letting it float with a better explanation. After 90 days I can’t dispute it. I ordered some from Armadillo also but have heard nothing from them. Anyone buy from Armadillo ?

I'm on the fence about a refund, leaning towards getting my $ back. I definitely agree with you on needing a better explanation. Minimum of 8 more weeks just to find out IF the permit that was already denied goes through? Hmmm. Why was it denied? Then how long if it does go through, and what if it doesn't AGAIN? Im not impatient but like the last msg to us all, this sure does nothing to make me feel any better, and in fact even less sure now. Im probably getting $ back, there are primer out there but gotta pay at least $100 a brick. Bummed

I ordered 2k SRP from Armadillo. I emailed Sean Jobs, the owner last week inquiring about the shipment. He replied they are still waiting on the import permit, could still be a few weeks.

After reading this tonight, I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I feel that it will be a long road and longer wait.

I think intentions are good. But I’m not doing a pre pay four or five months out with no recourse. I wonder if North Fork and Armadillo
Are on the same import permit.
 
Like I stated in a different thread, if $315.00 was gonna break me, I shouldn't be doing a lot of things.
I don't usually throw money away, but I think I'll stick this one out and see if Noah comes thru for us.....
But I will say, fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice, well, that'd make me an idiot....!!
 
I'm holding out. Unless by some strange lottery ticket type luck I get some at sportsmans madhouse., Then I may refund. Then I'd only be out about 40 or so since it more than likely cost me a box of bullets lol...
