Another Ruger Mark IV Upper

I hope those of you who have Ruger Mark IV pistols, at least are aware that Volquartsen Custom, every now and then, has genuine Ruger Mark IV upper take-offs for sale in their "Closeout Section" on their web-site for some very reasonable prices.

On my latest visit there they depicted a 5½ inch blued, Hunter style barrel with the notation that they only had a very few to offer, so I snatched one up. I think it L@@KS sorta neat, and it shoots as best as I can point it:

Another source is WG_Indiana on Gunbroker. Wirthwein guns I believe it is. Occasionally they will have frames and uppers.

Yes Wirthwein, and an excellent experience dealing with them! Curious what the original configuration was on your Mark IV @SGW Gunsmith? I see VQ now has a chopped and threaded 3 1/2” available that I’m itching to order.
