No internet link yet the news is too new. Yesterday afternoon at 4:45 pm A man was robed at gun point at me local walmart. Aparently the robber got away with $600 in cash. The victm was aproached from behind and the robber demanded money, then attempted to get the person to get into his vehical. The victm refused on some manner or another and the person got away. This is the 5th reported robery in under a year. Aso last summer a police officer was attacked the person in this case got the officers gun away from him and in the struggle the officer droped the mag out of it rendering the gun unfireable. Several bubbas proceded to make a citizens arrest while the officer composed himself there was some form of street side justice being issued.
I know the manager of this walmart and she is a pro gun person. She says company policy is still no firearms on the property, I asked if she enforces it and her responce was well only I a customer complains or it is in plain view.
I carry all the time when I got to this particular shopping center lowes is next door and what home owner can avoid the only major store like that once in a while, Wal mart, well I do need cheap fishing equipment and the ocasional 3am grocery item now and then.
I think criminals target this place because they know walmarts gun policey. The farmfresh accross the street in the same amount of time has had 0 robberies reported, big lots down the street same thing. It can not be just random if it happens at the same place all the time.
