Anti-gun groups disarray is 2nd Amendment's gain

Apparently 1 person at the top is causing all of this discontentment and jumping of the ship. It's better for us. Her name is Shannon Watts and she's the founder of Mom's Demand Action. We all owe her a debt of thanks.

Another source close to the organization said in a written statement, “Two beliefs unite nearly all gun control supporters: background checks save lives, and Shannon Watts is a self-promoting tyrant.”

The National Rifle Association responded to Folmar’s jab by pointing to recent statistics for state legislatures this session that showed 28 pro-gun state bills signed into law, seven pro-gun bills awaiting a governor’s signature, seven state pro-gun bills vetoed and 111 pro-gun pieces of legislation that are pending in state legislatures.

The gun rights advocacy organization compared the numbers for the same period to the number of state gun control bills signed into law: one; gun control bill signed into law leading to a legal challenge: one; gun control bills resulting in governor signature: 1; and failed gun control bills: 34.

WASHINGTON — After multiple staff departures from gun control group Everytown for Gun Safety and its spinoff Moms Demand Action, activists say a top decision-maker at both groups is making life difficult for those in the movement.

The announcement came one month after Everytown announced it is willing to spend more than $25 million in the 2018 midterm elections to prevent national concealed carry from becoming law.

Perhaps the pool of candidates that meet their standards for ideological purity and political correctness are not top performers. I am willing to bet that the pay is not that great except for the few at the very top of food chain.

It's all about money. As long as Shannon Watts has the confidence of Mike Bloomberg, the money will keep flowing in. Moms Demand Action is really an astroturf organization, basically a mouthpiece for Bloomberg. Bloomberg himself has diminishing influence on the national stage.

You have to understand "brain washing", and with kids it is really crazy. Be they growing up in Germany in the 1930's or in some Cult in the US....it is really amazing....reading up on Jonestown now.

The human mind is easy to damage.....and much harder to repair then the body.

Moms Demand Action started as "One Million Moms for Gun Control" and had only reached about 130,000 members by the end of 2013 when it effectively failed and merged with Bloomberg's Mayers Against Illegal Guns to form Everytown for Gun Safety.

Everytown for Gun Safety was formed with the intent of matching the political influence of the NRA but other than a few expansions of background checks at the state level, has little to show for it.

Further, having had to apologize for characterizing Boston Marathon bomber Tamarlane Tsarnaev as a "victim of gun violence" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Everytown_for_Gun_Safety#cite_note-Buckland130620-51, its not clear how much of counter the group is to the NRA.

It seems to me that rather than cheering their problems, we should be praying for them. After all, incompetence on this scale amongst the opponents of the 2nd Amendment is to be encouraged for who knows, in their wake someone competent and capable may arise to replace them.
