is killing me.

Bought a Cimarron Bisley in 44 special and it will be here tomorrow or Tuesday. Can't wait to get my hands on it. I'll declare...I am an old guy, but I still get giddy about a gun...bad as a small child. And, it ain't like I never get one...got another one just 3wks ago...but I am sure wanting to fondle this one.

Nice Bisley! Are you sure it isn't anticipation that's killing you? ;)

I understand completely!!!

I had to put a gun on layaway.
It's just killin' me!!
Will pick it up about Aug 20th or so.

Hondo 60, that is a fine looking gun. Bet it will be a fine shooter, as well.

I have the plow handles...Ruger and Cimarron/Uberti, and I have the Bisley Ruger's...so, I am eager to try the SAA Bisley and see how it shoots...hoping it will feel good.

Fine looking Bisley model. I can well understand your anxious anticipation. Post photos and range report when you get a chance.

While I am not that fond of Bisley's, you have selected my favorite caliber.

For those of you who buy and have to wait, I feel your pain. Here, we just walk in and put our money down.

I have a friend here on the THR who is looking at buying a SA revolver. He is talking about driving up to Fredericksburg, 60 mins away and buying one. Probably either a 44 or 45.

If this gun had been in town, I could have walked out with it...no one in town has a Cimarron in stock...so, I had to order it.

I wish my LGS would stock them, too.

You folks who have the good taste to appreciate single action revolvers should check out a local cowboy action shooting match.

The Bisley style revolvers are popular with shooters in the categories that require the revolver to be fired one handed. I see more Ruger Bisleys than the Uberti reproductions; the latter is more like the original Colt Bisley model.

I picked up a new Taylor firearms Uberti smoke wagon last week and got to put about 35 rounds thru it yesterday. The action is smooth as butter and trigger is delightfully light. Love the 4 clicks.

Well, the Bisley came in today and I got by the shop to pick it up. I have to say, like all of my Cimarron/Uberti's...top notch fit and finish...butter smooth action and a good trigger that will improve with a little shooting, like they all do.

Couldn't resist putting a few through it and before finishing up, I stuck a target up just to get an idea of how it was shooting these loads that were loaded specifically for another Cimarron.

I will have to regulate the sights a little, but that was expected.

This group was shot off the table at 15yds.

The 5 shot group measured 1.53" and deduct the .429 bore...1.10"...I will take that for the first time out, with it.
