Tuesday I will receive a new Stainless Bisley 44 with the 3.75" barrel. I held one a year ago and fell in love with it, but didn't buy it. One came up on Gun Broker last week and I couldn't resist.
It is going to need a good serviceable holster. I am looking at the Diamond D Leather Guide's Choice and also the Simply Rugged Sourdough Pancake Holster with the Chesty Puller Harness for carrying across your chest.
Any experience with this revolver and holsters for it?

I have the 3.75" Bisley .44 mag, and all I can say is it's one sweet baby. It's accurate, and controllable, even with my stout 300 gr LFN-GC reloads.

I don't have any chest rigs, but my Simply Rugged pancake is comfortable for belt carry. It's wearable in a car, unlike the same brand holster cut for my 6.5" Anniversary Blackhawk.

I checked out 7X Leather. Looks great. Price looks high until you see what all is included.....everything you'd want including shipping. The one from Alaska would be that much after you add the cartridge slide, shipping, etc.
I sent Wes an email to see what his delivery schedule looks like. I need something pretty quick since I don't have anything to carry the new revolver.
Thanks

Happy to hear that.....I also have some 300gr LFN-GC reloads ready to try. although I plan to load mine a little lighter than "stout". I have some 8.5, 9.0, and 9.5 gr Unique loads ready to try tomorrow when I pick up the revolver.

i have the 3.75" bisley .44 and had a custom crossdraw threepersons style made by CraigC. it's lovely to shoot, and his holster makes it the same to carry.

I actually loaded my 300gr for the 6.5" barrel Anniversary Blackhawk. 18.5 gr of 2400. Other than a bigger fireball, they work very nice in the Bisley.

I've got the brother to your Bodley model, I've got the Talo version with the standard grip frame. I haven't gotten to shoot it much, yet, but it is by far one of my favorite revolvers. I'm carrying mine in a simply rugged cattlemans model. I prefer the lower ride of it as it provides me more room for my backpack. Here is a couple pictures of mine.
