I've tried 2 loads with this powder using a Hornady 139 grain BTSP and the Nosler 140 Ballistic Tip. Of 10 test loads, 1 shot sub-MOA. These were shot out of a Bergara B14 Ridge with the 22" barrel and a Banish 30 suppressor in the 7" configuration.

Do you have any experience with this powder in your 7mm-08, and if so, what rifle and what bullet did you use?

Tried StaBal 6.5 in my 7/08 with 145 gr Speer. Got great velocity and good accuracy but be very careful because this powder spikes real fast. Worked up to 51 grs with no apparent pressure then tried 52 grs and blew a primer and almost froze the bolt. I went with 50 grs to be safe for a velocity of 3012 ft/sec.

In looking at the loading data, I was surprised at how much more powder is "allowed" versus other powders. For example, using the same bullet (139 Hornady BTSP) max load with Varget is around 42 grains, but max load for StaBALL 6.5 is 51C. It also produces very high velocities, so I wondered how it could do that without spikes in pressure. It seems like it's cheating somehow...
