So I needed a scissor lift to put up some lights in the shop and thought the logo looked familiar.

The location didn’t ring a bell but I had to check their website, and it has to be more than coincidence that they use the same logo, just inverted and came from the same city.

Interesting. The only MEC I've ever heard of is Shotgun Loaders and more recently their attempt to get in the metallic loading business......and I've been running a construction company for 50 years. Never seen a MEC scissor lift. :) ....yet.

Since the name is Mayville Engineering Corporation, it would stand to reason that they make other products besides the reloaders and clay Target throwers of the subsidiary, MEC Outdoors.
When you Google MEC, it comes up with a link for MEC Outdoors both within the MEC site, and as a separate link.
They also annually sponsor a Clays competition near Mayville. Here's their history;

I saw one being towed on the highway the other day. Gave me a big smile and then I bored my wife by telling her about my wonderful shotgun loaders!

MEC started in 1945 and a tube bending and metal fabricator. They didn't start the shotgun reloading business until 1955. It is my understanding that they have been in pistol and rifle reloading business since 2016.
