I'm seriously thinking about picking up an NAA mini revolver and can't really decide between the 1 1/8" and 1 5/8" barrel lengths, though I'm fairly certain I want a .22LR instead of a .22 magnum.

If using a hyper-velocity .22LR such as CCI Stingers or Aguila Super Max, is there any significant difference (say greater than 75 FPS) between the 1 1/8" and 1 5/8" barrels?

Thanks in advance!

I carry the magnum.

If you want to carry this for defense then the magnum makes the most sense. I am just not sure if it really matters if you get the 1 1/8 th or 1 5/8th. At the distance that these guns are used the extra fps is not really going to make a difference.

I can say that the 1 1/8 th is very easy to carry and produce from a pocket holster.

One option to consider is to do what I did and get the model with both a 22 LR and 22 Mag cylinders. Shoot with 22 lR alot carry 22 Mag.

Not sure how many people really aim these. I have shot both side by side. At the range you really shoot these it is more of a point and shoot. For most people that extra .5 inch is not going to matter in terms of hitting anything. The grip is too small to really take much aim.

NAA makes some models with longer barrels, better grips and REAL sights. Those you can aim and the extra barrel length makes a difference.
