Anybody have any advice on Sportsmans' Guide Hearing Protection?

So, Mrs. Azlib is after me for suggestions for Christmas gifts, and one of the items I'm considering adding to the list is this set of electronic hearing protection. I'm already using a nicer Peltor set (which I'm happy with), and would be using these as replacements for standard earmuffs that I keep for the kids or others who may come out to the range with me. I've found that generally, you get what you pay for, so I'm a bit cautious about these low-end electronic muffs.

Does anyone have any experience with them?

got a pair... they're good for ... uh ... well, they keep the wind off of your ears.

In this case it isn't, "you get what you pay for" ... you get less
