here`s mine, its an older Witness Silver Team in .40. It has a single action trigger, 2 port compensated match barrel, lightened hammer and drilled and tapped. the mount I found had one hole not lined up. sitting on top is an Aim Point red dot. its a dream to shoot. very few imported, they also made a gold team, chromed with 3 port compensater. witness 001.JPG witness 003.JPG

Eaa Witness are really great guns. I had a elite match in .40. It had the best single action trigger out of the box of any gun I had shot to that point including guns costing 2-3 times as much. That gun was easy to work on and tune with spring changes and polishing. Very accurate. With tuning the trigger got even better.

A while back I switched to just 9mm and 22lr for pistol. I sold the Match and bought an Witness elite Limited Custom. Same great SA trigger that I tuned. The Elite Limited and Limited Custom are really great guns. After tuning it I added a flat trigger. The bullets just go where you shoot them. The trigger is just about 2 lbs

You can tell the cost of a EAA by the size of the case it came in. My EAA 10 was so cheap, it can in a Compact Disk size case

I've got an older elite match with the super sight, no rail and Henning grips. Once I got good mags for it it's run like a champ. Love that gun.

Yes! Witness Elite Limited in 9mm with a Gold Team upper as well. I love it. Although once you get up to the gamer guns, nobody can afford to make a substandard gun. If you don’t like something, most competitors are comfortable with aftermarket parts that some folks wouldn’t put on self-defense guns.

IFG, Italian Firearms Group, imports Tanfoglio now. They just don’t seem to be in stock anywhere. Maybe we are due for a ship with a container of Italian firearms to show up in a port somewhere soon.

My wife's first handgun was a Silver Team in .45ACP. POI is POA for her like it is an extension of her will. Point, squeeze, bullet hits where she wanted. She still has it.

I've shot a bunch of Tanfoglio pistols, from their entry-level polymer models to their hi-end competition pistols. During the years I think I've tried literaly all their catalogue. I liked them all. I don't own one yet only because I've been more interested in other designs.

I picked up my first Tanfoglio 9 mm in the 90’s when I was big on porting and the 41 Action Express.

The next two I bought at the same time. Identical guns, different calibers. Don’t know why the sights are different, but the serial numbers are separated by 2000 digits.

I have 10mm, compact and full size wonder finish, probably 2002 time frame. Currently both have 40 barrels in them as they are the simple single recoil spring which doesn't handle 10mm very well. Magazines all cause misfeeds (the front ofround dives), i can't remember if I changed out mag springs or not. Not a fan of racking ghe slide on these, thre just isn't enough meat to grab onto.

As for accuracy and shootability both are the best pistols I own. Getting tight groups is almost effortless.

I have a Witness in 45ACP, great trigger, reliable, almost as accurate as my Sig 1911.

Grip is too big (I have small hands), other than that, a very good gun. Both my son and a friend like it a lot, one of them should take it off my hands.

100% agree! I can rack the wonder 10 to save my life. were did you get the .40 barrel? is there anything else that you need to convert the 10mm to .40. Big fan of .40

My first 10mm was a Witness with the Wonder finish .. picked it up at a LGS at a incredibly low price NIB back in early 2000’s .. good solid pistol.. but as mentioned.. big grip .. and some feeding problems.Replaced it with a Glock 20 I,Ive owned a 20 ever since ..

I really like the Witness Elite Match! So much pistol for the money! Don't get me wrong the Witness Limited Custom is a great gun but it is at least $500 more! I also owned in the past the Witness Stock 2 but I didn't like the DA/SA trigger.

Used to be a site http://www.savvysurvivor.com/ that sold all kinds of extras for these eaa witness pistols. Looks like that site is long gone now, taken over and parked with some advertising.

I *love* the big grips on these, that's why I like the large frame witnesses. I have a gen2 glock 20 that has an added hogue sleeve so it's more comfortable for me to shoot.
