Anyone love the m4 as much as me?

Wow , what a fast sg. I have weighed it down with a 8 shell mesa shell carrier , a big butt red dot scope ,a full shell holding sling and the thing fires upside down. Got rid of an od green 1100 tac 2 to help fund it a couple of years ago and just started using it a bit. The 1100 gets to dirty to fast imo. Testing it i should say. I got it at a local gun show with the telescopic skeletonized stock and then luckily aquired a factory +2 extension for it which is now very hard to find if you want a benelli brand tube. Got my tube for 150.00 which was a steal even 2 years ago. They say the adjustable stocks are going for somewheres in the 6 to 800.00 range alone. I might sell either the stock or the tube because you can't have both installed at the same time according to the atf's silly rule about imported parts. A fine aftermarket 1 piece tube is being made by a metal guy down south which is equal in quality to the factory 1 piece which the military uses. 150.00 and it's legal. It's just that i like having the gun "all factory" , all benelli.
Let my son borrow my super nova tactical some time ago and never got it back so this m411707 i'll make sure he don't even touch.

I'm going to lighten it up and only leave the mesa tact 8 shell carrier on it.
This benelli can use up alot of shells. 2" groups at 40 to 50 yards. Breneke's shells seem the tightest. Fed's truballs were a little wider but not much.

I'd keep your factory tube if you can... Even if you just throw it in a drawer for now. Some one makes a titanium tube that is supposed to work quite nice... Might want to give that a shot.

Never have had hands on one... probably never will own one. Glad you like yours though...

The M4 is a lot of gun for even more money, I'm still considering getting one but there's a lot of other options at that pricepoint to say the least.

This needs pictures! :D

So awesome......

There are many like it, but this one is mine! Love it so far. Just getting it properly setup for skeet/trap is where I'm currently at.

Well, I hit 13 out of 25 trap targets last time I tried with just the iron sights. I've since put on the EOTech, and am going to try and zero it for 25 yards. I should get some funny looks. :)

Yup, I love the M4 - the camo version reallys look sharp! I wish Benelli would come out with other schemes, particularly an urban or digital camo like I've seen a few pistols and AR15s appearing in - that would have to go on my credit card right away if it ever became available! Ahh... gun fashion! :)

Funny looks? yes you will. The EOTech will not make it easier.

Maybe not but, as someone who has shot a Benelli with an eotech on it I could see it making it easier over the ghost rings. I

It is by far the most aesthetially pleasing shotgun known to man (IMO of course). Wish I could afford one!

My hope is that at Shot Show Benelli will unveil something that looks just like the M4 except pump in the $600 - $750 range.

I say go and enjoy using it at as much trap and skeet as you like. Why not...
Sure it's not manufactured for sport but the clay or the elk don't know that .
If you can get the stock adjusted in a comfortable position for such a steep shot you should do well.
