As long as you are happy with your gun, great.
The 1200 had quite a few issues. It was one of the first of Winchester's less costly to produce designs after the demise of the Model 12 and old Model 70s. Before long it was replaced with the 1300. To me the 1300 was one of the best pointing guns ever. But, the 1300 also still had some issues. It was replaced by the Speed Pump. That one too, was not yet perfect. After FN bought the rights to make guns under the Winchester name, they spent some time working on things, and now we have the SXP. Hopefully now, they have things right. Over the same span of time Remington and Mossberg found no need to change their designs.
