Seems like Hornady shows Superformance as their speed powder in ,300 WSM. Anyone try it?
I picked up a lefty Savage 116 FCSS Weather Warrior in .300 WSM and am doing some research on loads. Planning on using this for Elk and keeping my -06 for deer only as it previously was a dual role rifle with 165’s for deer and 180 Nosler Partitions for Elk. Probably won’t gain much over my IMR 4350 180 gr -06 load but a little more energy and slightly flatter shooting won’t hurt.
I have plenty of other powders to try as well so what works best for you with 180’s or 200’s out of the .300 WSM?
