AR .300 Blackout with Supressor - Hunting Tool or Range Toy?

The problem with most sub sonic 300 blk loads is they have horrible terminal ballistics. The heavy 30 cal bullets used are not designed to perform at sub sonic velocities. Many loads simply poke a 30 cal hole with the bullets perhaps yawning, no expansion. I wouldn't use my sub sonic loads to hunt. In super sonic loads a 300 blk can do reasonably well.

I just got done putting together a .300 BLK load for this year's whitetail season here in Virginia using the Barnes 110g Tac-TX:

Zero'd for 100.

I hunt hogs with suppressed 300 Blackout (specwar 762, but just got an omega). I have 4 dead right there hog kills using the 110 barnes vortx. Shoot hog and it just falls over.

I have some subsonic maximum expansion that supposedly expands at subsonic speeds. Havent tried it yet though.

I've had some really good success with 110 grain Varminator bullets in the .300 Blackout. I am running supersonic and suppressed.
