I have a Geissele GS2 trigger I bought on sale a few years back. Love it.

So when Brownells put the B-GS2-E (Brownells GS2 Enhanced) trigger on sale I ordered one.

What I received is marked BG-E Part # 05-276

I do not see an 05-276 on Geissele's website, and Brownells shows a manufacturers part number of (At least for the B-GS2-E that I ordered) as... Mfr Part # BGS2E.

A Google search for "05-276" or "Geissele BG-E" turns up nothing.

"BG-E" ... B for Brownells? G for Geissele? -E for Enhanced?

Well ok then, what do I have?

Seriously though, why ask a bunch of random people on the internet whose knowledge is totally unverified? Seems like it'd make sense to ask the people whose answer is almost guaranteed to be legitimate.

The Enhanced triggers are Brownells exclusives, same trigger with lightened springs. I have a couple G2S-E’s, very nice triggers for the money.

Brownells is only selling a few enhanced triggers - Brownells is the B, the BG-E, I expect is short for BG2S-E. They have BRF-E’s and BS-E’s for the rapid fire and super semi auto triggers. Just short hand.

Is it still the 2 stage without the high back of the NM?

Yes. The B- & -E are obvious of course, but I would be curious why the package doesn't match their nomenclature on the website if indeed it is the B-GS2-E (Mfr# BGS2E) they advertise it as.

I kind of figured the BG-E stood for Brownells, Geissele, & Enhanced, and assumed I would find the 05-276 on Geissele's website, but if it is there I missed it.

Well, because a lot are not "random" here, are very knowledgeable, have lots of this stuff, and might have the answer for a curious and impatient fellow like myself. Never hurts to ask, and I can always call Brownells today. Just weird the nomenclature doesn't match up. The OCD in me struggles with that sort of stuff. :)

I actually found the first post linked to when I researched the Brownells sale offerings. Haven't seen the second one.

I have no doubt it is a good trigger, just wondering which one for sure.

You can’t order it from Geissele, that’s the only reason you don’t find the SKU on their site.
