AR10 Upper on AR15 Lower?

Will an AR10B upper function on the AR15 lower if you swap the complete upper (bolt carrier, etc) and the recoil spring and buffer?

Any other considerations come into play in this configuration.

Magazines won't fit. I would assume you could create a single shot firearm by changing the entire upper and recoil assembly.

Takedown pins won't line up.

AR10 upper is also longer than AR15's.

if you made a two piece lower with separate magazine well, you might be able to make it work.
