ARC Out Of Business ???

I see on the ARC Flashlight website -- www.arcflashlight.com -- that they are out of business.

I have a couple of their ARC led lights and I think they are very well-made(although my EDC is a Surefire), so it's sad to see another "Made in the USA" company go out of business.

It is regretable that they went under. I have several of their AAA lights, and they are beautiful. However, they got some bad components from a supplier, as I understand it, and the lights were sometimes intermittent. The replaced them, but they could not recover from the additional expenses and losses.
At least that is the way I understand it.

They were very useful and well made, but the chips ruined them. I hope all mine continue to work.

There are plenty of them on ebay, but they are selling for $50+. Consider the 1LED AAA or 3LED AAA from www.peakledsolutions.com. They are also coming out with an Arc-like (perhaps identical) body. At the custom shop or whatever they calll it, you can order a higher-output "ultra" that isn't shown on their website.
