I would like to know if anyone can explain the situation I am experiencing with Armslist , or if anyone has had similar experience.
I am not trying to initiate another Armslist pro/con/bashing thread.
Situation:
About 2 weeks ago I decided to pony up the monthly fee to enable my existing account to list items for sale. I planned to post listings right away , but when I attempted to do so I got a screen that told me that my account upgrade was being processed as quickly as possible. Ok , I thought , the site is recognizing my existing account , also recognizing my upgrade in progress , so maybe it will be a few hours.
Since then I have checked every few days - I still get the screen that says my upgrade is being processed. The red banner at the top of the screen states the boilerplate about high volume and suggests that if an email goes 3 days without response you should resend. I have sent an email of inquiry every 3-4 days for 2 1/2 weeks with no response.
I am in limbo. If the site simply said NO for some reason , that would be that , but instead it says I am being processed... in perpetuity. I clearly cannot get an email response.
Anyone able to shed any light on this ridiculous situation?
Has anyone had a similar experience , or am I special?
(How’s that for low hanging fruit?)
