when will it come to the states?
when will the .45acp (when they make it) version come here?
how much will it cost? (the versions available)
if anyone can shed light on the pistol or the questions above that would be great.

Interesting in that it deviates from the usual Browning tilt-barrel locking system. I'd like to try one!

It is an interesting gun. The lockup, if you cross your eyes and squint, somewhat resembles the 1910 Bergman or the Lahti; but engaging the barrel rather than a separate breechblock.

But can it amass enough import points to get into the country?
I added them up. It would just make the 75 points required if their "target sight" is click adjustable. Of course Glock has a cheap one for the purpose.

Sounds like an interesting pistol, especially with the barrel/slide design. I did not find any info on whether there would be a .45ACP version.

I've seen 9mm Nato, 9x21 IMI, .357 Sig (!?), and .40 S&W listed. Seems a bit of an odd fit for .45ACP, but who knows? Maybe, once they get established here and if there's enough shooter interest in a lower-capacity version.

I know only what the company web-site says and I'm excited by the magazine mini-skirt. I have no idea, though, what a "geometric lock" is nor am I sure what a rebated ceiling is doing on a pistol. The pistol looks nice and has a low bore. As I understand it, the barrel moves straight back and forward ("1 degree of liberty mechanical law"), just like a Mauser C96, Walther P 38, Beretta M 951, or Benelli 76. That's a theoretical improvement to accuracy; real world experience shows that unless Browning tilt block system is severely out of tolerances, the edge isn't there. I also wonder how important lock time is in a pistol. We're not talking rifle accuracy here or the falling of a massive hammer on a Colt Single Action Army.
Is the company serious? The double 1911 is quite frankly a gimmick. Will the Strike One (odd name, I think) do anything better than other pistols for less money? Or will it be so magnificent that it's worth higher prices?
Time will let us know.

Uh...no. It should be a nice pistol at $399 or thereabout. No freakin' way it will sell here for that much. They'll have to hit the polymer service pistol price point, and maybe undercut it a bit, if they want to make sales to US buyers.

^ the 4400-4900 was for that monstrosity 2011 double barrel 1911..

I couldnt find the price for that ugly poly gun.

If it's a Russian handgun, it won't be imported. If it's Italian, then we'll probably see it. My guess is $450-600 range.
