To anyone looking for a 22 plinker in an AR style? rifle, GrabAGun now has the Beretta ARX160 for $337.97 - not too shabby!
MSRP is $595, and my local dealer says his price on it is around $450.

I already have one, and have no complaints with it (so far).
Made by Umarex / Walther, but apparently Beretta had a hand / requirements in the design - much better made / designed than the Colt AR 22 made by Umarex / Walther.

Shipping on all firearms is $5.99, but you may be able to get free shipping using code SCQPT-7ZG-68Y-5WW (at checkout, NOT early in the process where it asks for coupons).

A friend took 'em up on the offer:
$337.97 + free shipping + $25 local FFL fee + $2 paperwork fee = $364.97 out the door!

My bad - I got cornfused - $377 was the price before they lowered it to $337.
I corrected it in the original post - the total was correct ($364.97 out the door).

If anybody was interested, hope they moved on it as the price has now gone back up to $452.95!

Beretta Father's Day Sale (and more)!

Iff'n anybody took 'em up on this deal and now need some magazines or ?, Beretta Online is having a Father's day sale (actually, it's on any of their accessories).

25% off site wide, plus another 10% for liking them on Facebook (code FBFAN13).

35% or so off really knocks those magazines down to a reasonable price!

BTW - since the ARX160 is made by Walther, the mags will also fit the Colt M4 Carbine (I've tested) and probably the SIG 416 tactical rimfires by Walther.

I wouldn't have bought it, but I won one in a raffle. It's a nice shooting gun.

Basicblur, thanks for the hookup on magazines.

Well under wholesale.........gotta wonder why they are giving them away???????
Dunno, but I jumped on one and a friend did also.

Actually better than the one I bought a while back @ almost $200 more, as they now include a nice plastic case and threw in a sight adjustment tool. My first one just came in a cardboard box, and I don't believe had the tool.

A local gun dealer told me his price on 'em was $450 or so.

The deal didn't last long, as Grab A Gun went back up to over $450 on 'em a few days later.

I have no need / desire for the ARX160 pistol, but I remember somebody over at Slickguns.com offering it for $275.

Had a spare SRS laying around so slapped it on it - had to remove the factory flash suppressor in preparation for my cans to arrive, and needed something to use as a thread protector - was originally going to go with some A1 style flash suppressors as they don't require timing (have the vents all the way around), but ran across the Spikes Tactical CAR-1 Fake Can and figured I'd give it a whirl. Pricey for a thread protector, but is sure makes that barrel look shorter - it's a shame it won't be that short with a real can screwed on the end!

With the SRS and CAR-1 on it, it's a pretty futuristic looking 'thang.

I'm curious to see which 22 the kidz gravitate toward on some shooting outings this summer.

Last year they all seemed to like the Colt - I think it was the SRS mounted that sucked 'em im? Didn't have the ARX160 back then, but did have a 15-22 set up like a poor man's 3-Gun rig - Nikon 22 scope and a Bushnell TRS-25 mounted at an angle behind the scope.

For some reason, they all seemed to want to shoot the Colt between the two?

Just cruised by Slickguns to check current ARX160 prices - nothing all that great on the rifle, but I see the pistol is $243, and somebody was selling it for $219 (offer now expired).

I gotta stay off that site... :banghead:

It's Back!

GrabAGun again has the Beretta ARX160 for $337.97, but no mention made of free shipping (shipping is $5.99). You can try the free shipping code I posted earlier to see if it works?

Today is also the LAST DAY Beretta has 25% off sitewide - if you get the ARX160 and need extra mags, see the earlier post about that also (25% off + 10% off for liking them on Facebook or using the code provided earlier).

I tend to go with the 20-rd. magazines as the 30-rd. ones are awfully long - the 20-rd. are approx. the same length as a normal 30-rd. AR mag.
I also picked up a few 10-rd. mags for bench work.
For some reason, all the mags are gray except the 20-rd., which are black. The 20-rd. that came with the gun is black, and I've ordered 'em twice - both times they were black.

Shipping on all firearms is $5.99, but you may be able to get free shipping using code SCQPT-7ZG-68Y-5WW (at checkout, NOT early in the process where it asks for coupons).

Beretta Sitewide Sale in earlier post:
