I don’t know if the prices will ever get back to pre panic levels. The way inflation is headed I am not sure the price of anything is going down. Ever.
9mm that used to be $12 is now $15
I expect that to be the new normal price within a very few months.
That would be 25% increase and far outpacing the inflated sky is falling inflation #s predictions....
You could be right, though.
When ammo settles down to inflation paced pricing, I'll be all in while grumbling about inflated inflation.
ETA: $12 per 50 of 9mm selling for $13 would still be out pacing Bidenflation by quite a bit.
Inflation, sure, but from what I'm reading out of RMR copper and lead prices are way up too, so there could just be basic material price increase involved too.
Assuming you mean raw material costs, 'basic material price increase' is most certainly part of inflation... including Bidenflation.
I saw CCI LPP for $80.00/1000. Just couldn’t do it. But at least they had some. Haven’t seen any on the shelf in well over a year.I am awaiting primers much more so than loaded ammo. First there has to be inventory to buy of course, but I would start buying again at $40 a brick to replenish my stash. Maybe we will see some availability in a year?

It won't get fixed until we nationalize China's ownership in American corporations and seize their real estate property holdings.
That sums it up.When my need for ammo/reloading-supplies grows to the point that the current market prices are deemed acceptable.
