I wouldn't get 1 for anything more than hunting from a stand.

Too good to be true was exactly how I found it to be after buying 1-I took it on hog hunt and was very frustrated with it.

My buddies rented guides rifles that were thermal scope equipped-we came up on several hogs and each time they were firing away while I wasn't able to find the hog in the scope (the grass was fairly high).

At the end of the hunt, I looked through the thermal and knew then and there I had to have a thermal-sold the x sight after 1 use for half what I paid for it and literally will never look back.

Was the same experience I always end up havjng when I try to get away with the cheap-I have buyers remorse, lose $ on what o bought trying to save $ and buy what I should have in the 1st place.

Literally like "night and day" difference.

The daylight vision with any magnification was terrible with the x sight and it was heavy.

Still think it could have a decent limited use-still shots at night that aren't 100 yards would probably be fine.

YMMV

My night shots would likely be 25-50 yards max. But, thanks for the honest evaluation. I now have less of a burn for this thing. LOL I'll stick with my green light. Thermal sights are totally out of the question. I ain't selling the house or my truck to get one. It'd be a stretch to buy this ATN thing.
