Benelli M2

Guys, I'm about to bite the bullet and buy a Benelli M2 in 20 g for my girlfriend.

The thing is, we want this to be an all around shotgun.

This will be her skeet gun, hunting gun, IPSC gun, etc.

Is 20 ga allowed in 3 gun competition?

I know there is a right tool for every job, but I'm not exactly wealthy.

How reliable are M2s with everything from 2 3/4" #8 shot to 3" slugs and buckshot?

Also, I suppose weather resistance is at least as good as the Novas/Supernovas?

I shot at least 15000 2 3/4" shells through my M2. Reliable enough

I haven't fired that many of everything thru my H&K M1, I don't think, but then again, the M2 is the updated version. 20 ga. eh? Good for her!
