I have a Benelli M4, with the custom U.S. made magazine ext. I have only fired 50 rounds fired, shotgun is in perfect condition. I'm trying to find out what it is worth? Thinking about selling it, was an impulse buy.
May I ask why you want to sell it? The reason I ask is because i wanted to know if you have any particular problems with it or is it just buyers remorse?
The M4 is the best semi auto shotgun you will ever find. Fast, accurate and never one problem no matter what the load.
If has become a safe queen and could use the money in other areas. Not a real necessity to sell, was curious what the going price is currently.
M4s have GREAT resale value. I'd say if you paid about 1200~1400 for it you possibly will be able to sell it for ALMOST as much as you paid for it!
Used M1 Super90s in perfect condition are going for as high as $900.00 and as low as about $750.00 so an M4 is worht about 1300.00 in perfect condition.
As it comes the tube will hold 5 = 2-3/4” or 4 = 3” shells, with the full length tube (or equivalent using an extension) the tube will hold 7 = 2-3/4” or 6 = 3” shells.
(Note = Some brands or types of 2-3/4" shells are just a tad longer than most and that little extra length multiplied by each shell may prevent loading all 7 in the tube.)
At max capacity with 2-3/4” shells the M4 will hold 9 shells, 7 in the tube + 1 floating on the carrier + 1 in the chamber, or 8 3" shells with 6 in the tube + 1 floating on the carrier + 1 in the chamber.
