Beretta 92X

Don't know how many have seen this yet but I figured I would share.



No idea on pricing but I am going to venture a guess that it will fall between $1000-$1500.

I have seen that. I think that is on the "Euro" site. It's not on the BerettaUSA ( http://www.beretta.com/en-us/berett...5.1838392557.1552094921-1038987833.1547839349 ) website. While we may get it, I'm not holding my breath.

Even in Europe, it is only limited production.

It does look very cool though.

Nope. Vertec grip Overly aggressive checkering, fugly rail, beavertail looks like the gun fell a couple hundred feet and landed on it.

I liked the Bilennium 92, and the Steel 1 was nice except for the Vertec grip, but they can keep this thing

By interesting coincidence I was out for a good long plink session with a friend yesterday ; I mostly shot my Beretta 92 Vertec , he with his Taurus counterpart. (The friend was the infamous MARV from the Batman Luger story...)

We discussed the virtues of the design , and I went on to comment on my enjoyment of my S&W 5906 which is of all stainless construction. A steel 92 would certainly get my interest. Lots of whistles and bells... There comes a point beyond which one cannot improve on a proven design- does the 92X represent that point? Maybe , maybe not. Beretta gets credit for trying - looks like a fine firearm.
