What do y'all think about it?

I picked one up a couple of weeks ago and I think its pretty neat, especially how trivial it is to change the charging handle and ejection from the right side to the left side, all the other controls are ambi and the adjustable folding stock is solid. None of this is necessary for me (being right handed) but switching from right handed to left handed with no tools beyond a bullet tip to "click" the ejector swap button is a really clever design.

The quick remove barrel makes cleaning a breeze and being piston operated it stays pretty clean in the "guts". Its also lighter than the average AR carbine these days -- much lighter than the typical piston AR.

Can't really comment on accuracy as my days of effective shooting with iron sights are long gone, but we ran about 150 rounds through it with no issues. I'll be shopping for a scope or red dot for it soon.

Only thing I think is "goofy" is how the adjustment "star" for the front sight "floats" below the top of the post and above the bottom of the housing. It just looks strange, about all other sights have the post sit above a straight baseline with the adjustment mechanism blocked from view.

With decent AR-15 starting at $5-600 its hard to recommend this as one's first black rifle, but if you are tired of ARs and want something different, but aren't ready to jump into bullpups, this is IMHO well worth a look. Using AR-15 mags is a nice plus too in my book.

I'll have to look into the availability of the "short" barrel for civilians, and if its reasonable, another SBR Stamp may be on the Xmas wish list.
