I got my new American Rifleman today and saw the new Beretta Rx4 Storm. It looks pretty neat and maybe just the ticket for our poor comrades in the peoples republic of California (with the traditional stock;) ). Does anyone know how much the will cost?

No word on when Beretta will be shipping it... came straight from the mouths of the guys at the Beretta Gallery in Dallas. Couldn't even get a price quote.

Looks like only the SBR version is restricted; I'd expect that CA would add this to its big list of scary guns, so why not get an AR15 carbine?

There seems to be different versions - but I kinda like the way it looks. Hopefully no AWB will stop all these new rifles due to hit the market...

Much as I don't like the way it looks, I'm glad it is one more option for our friends in states like California.

I'd expect that CA would add this to its big list of scary guns, so why not get an AR15 carbine?

Considering how the CA DOJ hasn't even gotten around to banning off-list ARs, I wouldn't be too concerned about the Beretta.

California passed a law which pretty much took away the Department of Justice's ability to list any new weapons to be banned.

Learning new laws in new states, so, would this rifle be OK for MA?
short answer yes. with an S
long answer, no. with a butt.

MA would classify this as a "high capacity " rifle. and would require a License to cary Class A (21 year old +). as opposed to an FID ( 18+)

the conventional stock saves it from any MA problems. how ever since "hicap" magazines are a restricted item in MA you have to find Pre-ban mags ( not that hard as they only have to be MADE before the ban, not in MA before the ban)

also no online dealers will ship ammo, mags, parts, almost anything to MA
