Beretta hasn't taken the Tom Cat off the market. The "crack" has now showed up
in the INOX models. Defective Design.

Here is a photo of what I did. After completing the cut and dressing the edges, I blacked the bare metal so I could see any wear that was being borne on the edges. So far it has been negligible.

I haven't read this whole thread but here are my 2 pennies. I owned the Tomcat for quite awhile and it was kind of a neat little gun but I sold it when I met the Ruger LCP. The Tomcat is very thick for it's size and heavy. It did not seem to be as well built as I would have expected and I just couldn't see why I would keep it when the Ruger was smaller, lighter, more powerful and in my opinion, more attractive and well built. I only had one real failure with the Tomcat and that was a shattering firing pin.

.32 Tomcat ammo?

For those that ARE carrying the Tomcat, what ammo do you - or the gun - favor, particularly for your defensive/CCW carrying?

I've never fired a Tomcat .32 ACP but am seriously thinking of purchasing one for concealed carry. I'd like to hear about how this particular gun handles and if it's the right choice for a concealed carry. New to the world of firearms, but am open to suggestions.
I already have a Ruger SP101 3" .357 mag, but it gets a little cumbersome and heavy. Thanks in advance. Really need some help with this decision.
to be honest with you, i dont like the way it shoot. my friend have one and love it. but really dont like the way it shoots.

30320 inox cracked frame

loved the gun, very accurate for what it is. could hide it well etc. that is untill i discovered the frame was cracked. put in the e-mail to cs.and am waiting for a reply. the gun looks like new and a low rount count gun. have never had a frame break on any gun i own, glock, taurus, colt, walther, ruger and a springfield. the glock and taurus are over 7,000 rd count guns and NO FRAME CRACKS-had to replace some parts along the way,but no frame problems. all guns break if you shoot enough, but this isnt the case here. the gun sat in the safe for a couple of yrs. and i decided to start shooting it. after all thats why we buy em. will wait and see how beretta handles this problem
