I bought some Berger 6.5 140 gr VLD Target bullets today for a 6.5 Creedmoor. I can't find the load data for them online. Could someone with a Berger manual please give me the recommended C.O.L. and the load data for H4350 and Hybrid 100V. Thank you.

1. You can use the load data for ANY lead core copper jacketed bullet of the same weight as long as long as you go with the usual start low and work up load development.

2. For COAL, the loaded cartridge needs to fit the magazine (if the gun has one), needs to have enough of the bullet in the case neck to hold it securely and should be as near as possible to the lands without out actually abutting them. For for a Berger bullet in a cartridge of this size, you can use the COAL for another match bullet.

3. There are several variables in a cartridge that include the particular case, the primer brand and type, powder lot, etc. In addition, the guns used to get the data in the manuals are going to be different than your gun. You can't take data and assume because a load gave certain results in a manual, it's going to be exactly the same in your gun. Manuals give a generally safe starting point but a reloader is responsible for working up an acceptable load in their gun.

Thanks for the reply and have done all of that before. I like to have the bullet maker info for my notes.
