Best 148 Gr HBWC for .38/.357 Mag Target loads?

Kevin, the best would be the most accurate, consistent weights,...there may even be coated HBWC(s) out there.

Besides Speer and Hornady, I haven't seen any from Missouri or SNS. What other options are out there?

I'm seeing if these outshoot 158 Gr LSWC(s).

I appreciate your post too TimSr...I had no idea plated HBWC(s) were out there.
 
Speer called the 4605 a bevel base WC, it performs well at target velocities but can loaded to higher pressures compared to a HBWC. I still carry the Speer 4605 in a S&W 36 with 3.5gr of Bullseye.

I have some of those "fugly" old dirty Rem 148 HBWC bullets under my bench:neener:

One reason they shoot so well for some folks is because they are oversized, .360 IIRC. I use them exclusively for 38S&W loads.
