I'm a big CZ 75 fan, and I rank it high, but in all honesty, even though I don't own one, when it comes to full-sized 9mm handguns, I have to vote for the Beretta 92FS as being the one that looks perfect. It's a classic, and I've lost track of how many times I've told people "now THAT is how a gun is supposed to look!" If you want to spend $800 to $900 on a beautiful pistol, there are some nice ones out there, but for less than $600 you can have the Beretta 92FS. It'd be an easy choice for me.
Browning Hi-Power, Beretta 92, CZ75, or a 9mm 1911?
I don't own any of those guns, although I do have a proper 1911 in .45ACP. My favorite 9mm is my S&W 5903, but i don't know if anybody would consider the 3rd gen S&W autos to be sleek or sexy.
Please count me among the admirers of "the Masters' work," John M. Browning, the gorgeous Browning Hi Power. It is not only beautiful but highly accurate and dependable. It has fought in many wars, insurrections etc. and has served more than a few policemen world wide. If I had to choose just one gun from my modest collection it would be the Hi Power....regards Harold
+1 Beretta 92. I've had mine for 8 years, most reliable pistol I've ever owned. And Beeeeautiful! You can now get mec-gar 18rnd mags for them too. I have 3 mec-gar 18rd mags that function flawlessly, and intend to get more.
